Delete your data

You can delete your saved projects, or your whole PhotoText account and everything in it, at any time. You don't need to contact us.
Delete my account
Log in to the account you want to delete, then come back to this page.
You're logged in as . Deleting your account removes your profile, all your saved projects and photos, your credits and your login history. This can't be undone, and unused credits are lost.
Type DELETE to confirm:
Your account has been deleted. Your projects and personal details are gone from our servers, and they'll be gone from our backups within 30 days.
Delete only some projects
Open My projects and choose Delete on any project. The photo and your edits are removed from our servers right away, and from our backups within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, profile picture and password.
- All your saved projects: the photos you uploaded and your edits.
- Your credits balance, your login history (IP addresses and browsers), the details of your sign-up check and your choice about update emails.
If you ever bought credits, we keep a record of the payment (date, pack and amount, without your name or email) because tax and accounting rules require it. Stripe, our payment processor, keeps its own records of the payment.
If you signed in with Facebook, Google or X
Removing PhotoText from your Facebook, Google or X settings stops it from signing you in, but doesn't delete what you saved on PhotoText. To delete that too, use Delete my account above. On Facebook you can remove the app under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
